The SOV model showed good response in China. The experience of expanding the sales force size brought good return, and medical reps' productivity was maintained. In 2003 top 11 MNCs had a total of 4,900 medical reps, and this number increased to 10,000 in 2005. The liner response window has been much larger than people estimated, but this needs to be carefully monitored.

In our syndicated survey of year 2007, we have measured SOV of MNCs at aggregated level and hospital specialty level.
